Think it Through... Systems day 1

Find the value of two numbers if their sum is 12 and their difference is 4.


Find the numbers and EXPLAIN the method(s) you used to solve the above problem.

The numbers would be 8 and 4 because we started with 8 and took 12-8 which gave us 4 and then we plugged it in so it said 8+4=12 and 8-4=4

8+4=12
*the 2 #'s are 8 & 4!

*we minused 4 from 12 and got 8,then the difference is 4.Then we plugged in 8+4 and got 12!

DONE!

I plugged in numbers into the equation, but it took me a while to figure out the problems. The answers are 8 and 4. 12-8=4 and 8+4=4!!!

I just used common sence 8+4=12 and 8-4=4.
